I recommend staying in a hotel for the night if things become too unbearable. Or use the old ice in front of a fan trick to stay cool all day.

Go hang out at the mall or a buddy's house

Do anything, just get the hell out of there until you can get the AC replaced

Oh please, it's 84F with 64% humidity in my bedroom right now and I don't have AC.

Bloody Americans are spoilt with their AC

hahaha welcome to the hell,

i live in valley area of s. cali, and my place got no AC

freaking cheap ass landlord

it got down to 51 outside here last night. nice, cool sleeping weather.

Yep, beautiful weather in NY this week... perfect summer temperatures - high 70's low 80's, with a nice breeze, not too humid. We can spend hours outdoors enjoying life; not forced to lock ourselves in our air-conditioned abodes. Cool nights - perfect for sleeping.

(rubbing it in a bit... you'll all get even in Jan and Feb, I'm sure.)

Fry's? Best Buy? WTF do you live? Out in the boonies or something?

I live in West Los Angeles and the Target near my apartment was out of ACs and regular fans. You'd probably have better luck out in the boonies. Luckily, my apartment has air conditioning so it's been nice and cool in here.

bah.

it's 100 something in san jose. my sister called and said the power has been out SINCE SATURDAY NIGHT. just their grid. a house here and there will be out, and then a few houses will have power.
