This is the remix edition about that song about pissin'
And twenty years later finally got him.
I thought the best part about that burn by Chappelle is that Kelly actually tried to confront him about it afterwards, as in, "How you gonna do me like that, bro?" Chappelle's reply was, "How you gonna piss on 14 year old girls, bro? GTFO of here, man."
Much as I agree with the verdict before any of you get on your high horse about R. Kelly, Elvis was banging Priscilla at 14 and he's considered some sort of icon.
And when do Matt Gaetz, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump go on trial??
Gaetz? I hope he goes down, but not going to hold my breath on that.
Clinton? Just a wee bit of difference between situations there. He used his position of power and influence, but he wasn't the same level of manipulative and isolating predator that Kelly was, in my honest opinion. Neither of them were, "okay" but I see the actions of Kelly as far more twisted, manipulative, and controlling. Just look at the difference between the parties victimized.
Trump won't even be held accountable for his verifiable political crimes, and he was bragging about pussy-grabbing long before he was ever elected. Him being charged for any of it? Not a chance.
I hear what you mean about Elvis, but...it was a different era, different expectations and socially 'acceptable' situations. I'm sure she wasn't the only teen that Elvis had sexual activity with, but at least he married her.
Might seem a bit twisted according to our current social standards here, but plenty of other places in the world are still signing daughters off for marriage at young teen or even preteen ages.
