besides the multiple colds I have aquired this season, and the flu that cost me 10 pounds in 12 hours, I now have the fvcking pinkeye

I also hear strep throat is going around...yea!!

It doesn't help much now, but there are apparently a finite number of different cold strains, and I've read that you can only get each one once. So you will get fewer colds later.

Pinkeye, alas, I think you an keep on getting.

Worth it, though- my son just keeps getting more fun. And strange, but that's another matter.

I feel for ya... My son seems to bring home every type of cold/flu/illness from school.

Here's a question...we were discussing this at last nights game...

Have you ever kept your child home from school, but then later in the day, still let them participate in their extracurricular (sp?) activities?

I think I've done it twice... keeping him home from school, but letting him play hockey later that same say. I only allow this for games...if it were a practice he wouldn't go.

If it makes you feel any better, I have a friend who has 18-month-old triplets, and he and his wife and all three babies have the stomach flu. They won't even let us go over to lend a hand because they don't want us to get sick ourselves.
