woke up to a winter wonderland. This happens once every three years or so, my kids are excited! I’ve already checked in as "safe" on Facebook.
Let's take wagers, I'm guessing between 1" and 1.5", and all public facilities in his nearest city are closed. In order for us northerners to properly deride you we need to know how much snow you got

North metro Atlanta here and I was pleasantly surprised to see light snow on the ground this morning when I took my puppy out to pee. School and work are canceled. I love living in the South.

I just came back from a walk and it's treacherous out there. I almost slipped on the dreaded southern ice couple of times. School will definitely be canceled again tomorrow due to the deadly southern ice. My daughter is happy.I think I see some of that dreaded southern ice under the snow.
I'm probably 25 or 30 miles north of you and ours is almost completely melted. I'll be surprised if school is canceled again tomorrow but I've been surprised before.I just came back from a walk and it's treacherous out there. I walked around my neighborhood and the sun melted the open areas but areas the sunlight is blocked by trees are still completely frozen. The last time it snowed, they closed the schools and my neighborhood roads were about 99% clear. At the moment, roads are probably around 70% clear. The remaining 30% in the shade isn't going to melt if it hasn't already and the sun is going down in about 3 hours. I will be shocked if schools are not canceled for tomorrow for Fulton.I'm probably 25 or 30 miles north of you and ours is almost completely melted.
