That I never made another nick named "Deicide", I wouldn't have brought this up here, but obviously the mods don't read emails. I am sure there are plenty of people here that can back me up on this one.

Deicide and I know each other IRL, he is a friend of mine and we go to the same school, and we both posted from the same room of the school in this thread, and THAT is why the IPs are so close together.

I know this won't do any good, and will probably just get locked, but this had to be said because he is really pissed off at me, and I want his account opened back up.

P.S. Why would I make such a fuss over a name that I made up to troll? I WOULDNT! This person is pissed off at me, and rightfully so. It is not fair too him that he lost his account because of me.

Why is he mad at you? He started the kiddie porn thread, which has always been a no-no. Granted, your chiming in with the &quot;give him a month&quot; probably didn't help, but wasn't he given a time out for the thread he started more for the fact that you two have close IP's?

I guess I should have looked at the Mod edit times a little more closely, but at least on the surface, it looks like he got himself in trouble first.

It's not really your &quot;fault&quot;... it's just that going by IP is a slightly imperfect way of determining people's real identity.
It is possible that totally different people post from the same place, as seems to be the case here.
But if you look at it from the mod's perspective, the best tool they have to determine a poster's identity is through the IP. When two people posting in the same thread have IPs that match exactly (and your e-mails are similar as well) they have to assume that it is the same person.

A somewhat similar situation occurred earlier this year, and I believe it was eventually resolved, with the correct person being booted and the other one reinstated. You'll just have to somehow prove Deicide is really a different person (although this may be difficult).

i used to do a few online things with friends at school and we were on a lan so it looked like we were all the same people. it gets kinda nasty but if you have decent people running the place you can usually get it worked out. hope it goes well.

Well, the mods could look at the fact that 98% of my posts are from my home computer (where I am now), and see that they are road runner IPs. If they look at Deicide's posts, they will also see that most of his posts are from his own residence with HIS road runner IP... We both use southern tier of NY road runner, so that is why our emails are the same extension... I wish the mods would talk to me about how i could prove it...

Could a mod at least contact me somehow and tell me you are looking into it or something!


Deicide posted this THREAD that was edited from &quot;Who likes chocolate donuts&quot; to &quot;Opinions on Child Molestation&quot; after a few members posted &quot;Hell Yea!&quot;, etc. He has been given an indeterminate time-out for that little stunt. We will not tolerate that sort of behavior. Your account was locked due to the fact that you had an identical IP addy. Your account has been reinstated. When and if we feel that Deicide has learned appropriate behavior, he will likewise be reinstated. Maybe. Case closed, move along, nothing more to see here.

You are correct, Deicide was stupid for playing that stunt, but the only reason he is now banned is because you thought that we were the same person, when in fact we are not... How can you tell if he has learned appropriate behavior when his account is disabled...
