It Just Won't Delete...

I've ran into a problem while using Windows XP Pro. I have a lot JPEGs that just refuse to delete. I've tried everything I could think of, from running in safe mode to deleting the files one by one using the command prompt. However, there are simply too many files to deal with. Would anyone mind pointing me to the solution?

P.S. Sorry if this is a commonly asked question, I've tried the search function and wasn't able to find any threads reguarding this topic

Double click -> My computer
Go -> Tools -> Folder Options
Deselect "use simple file sharing"

Go to the folder where your Jpeg is.
Select all that you want to delete
right click on them
go to properties
go to security tab
go to advanced
go to ownership
substitute the ownership by you or the administrator
return to security tab
click add
click find
click everyone
ok
in the security tab
click on everyone
set allow to everything
delete all that you want.

You didn't say what you tried, so .........

Sometimes you can delete the folder that the files are in when you can't delete the file itself.

Sometimes you can move the files to another folder and delete that folder.

Ah, thank you. That fixed the problem.
