All the various conspiracies are coming home to roost: Obama is a communist, Muslim, socialist peacenik who loves debt and wants people to be unemployed. Romney can't find his way to a consistent viewpoint on his breakfast order, much less affairs of state. Paul Ryan wants to pull the plug on grandma and grandpa. Obama is secretly working to turn America into a Muslim state and takes his orders from Iran. He also has secret plans to bomb Israel.

All the partisan hyperbole in P&N is correct: depending on which side you more closely align with, either Romney/Ryan or Obama/Biden will bring about the end of America as we know it.

The spidey07s and Phokus' of the forum are telling the truth; it really and truly is midnight in America if their candidate doesn't win.

There is an old saying, if you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything.

Since our elected officials try to please everyone, they are falling for everything.

The US government does not have the fortitude to stand up and do what needs to be done. The fear of hurting someones feelings has castrated the government.

Its not Romney/Ryan or Obama/Biden that is the problem, its the political-correctness that has infected this nation that is the problem.

OP don't forget all the conspiracy theories are true, 9/11 was an inside job, we went to Iraq for oil, the Dark Knight shooter was doing it for the US gov't, and that plane that crashed on the east coast was shot down.

Isn't funny how everything significant in America has a conspiracy behind it.

So... the voters?

The "9/11 was an inside job" is in a whole league of it's own. That take a special kind of stupid to believe that.

I don't think it was an inside job, however with the gulf of Tonkin, US government has proven its willing to commit false flags to mislead the public into war.

Given that fact each act of aggression deserves scrutiny.

Not many intelligent people do. 9/11 being an inside job is all about how many people would have had to be involved to pull it off. And that trumps all conspiracy theories. Everyone from the Police/Fire/Rescue ignoring evidence at ground zero, to the air traffic controllers, to the families that had to sacrifice loved ones, congress, the media, all the way to the President, all kept quiet about the murder of thousands of US citizens all for a President that hasn't been very popular lately.

This is not unusual to me for a country where 70% of people believe in ghosts or aliens..

Ghosts. I have seen them. True story.

Aliens. They won't be back for another ~50 years, they left in 2010 after sampling some of the earth's minerals.

If you are ever in Galveston TX go to the UTMB medical building that is on the Marina. There is a guys face on the building that glows. It's there every day. It’s Pretty creepy. If you ever want proof of an afterlife of at least existence beyond what we consider life, go see it.

Scroll down to the next to last pic. We used to go see this all the time when I lived In Texas. It has a green glow to it at night.

Don't be so cynical. There's always going to be morons.

Especially around here.

I agree with you, it is sad we have around 10% of the population being so idiotic and self deluding. :(

It seems implicit in this statement that you would claim that not believing in gods is irrational. Is that a claim you would defend?

Not a party guy, I don't support political parties, but I find this to be rather funny. Remember there are MORE CHOICES than Obama and Romney. Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are both capable of winning the electoral college. We need to support MORE CHOICES, there are 300m+ of us in this nation there is no way we are properly represented right now. This is mainly due to our Government being stolen from us by the Republicans and Democrats. A Government for the people and by the people doesn't exist. Only a Government for the Republicans and by the Democrats(or vice versa or all ways, whatever fuck you)

While the details are clearly delusional, both sides may well be right.
