Watched an interview of an immigration attorney on local NBC affiliate a couple days ago. A federal mandate to register if an immigrant and not a citizen was recently put into effect locally with a warning that those who didn't comply were going to be targeted. Asked what proportion were complying he said nobody was. Everyone is fearful to bring attention to themselves.

After 2026 midterm that might happen. All it takes is a majority vote in the House. Confirmation requires 2/3 of Senate, however, but impeachment will have been accomplished, i.e. his 3rd impeachment. I wonder if the founders who created and ratified the constitution imagined that one day the country might be so partisan that getting a 2/3 vote in the Senate to oust a rogue president would be a hurdle too high.

Trump has blatantly ignored the Supreme Court of the United States, by ignoring their ruling that Trump must ensure the return of an American Citizen illegally sent to a torture prison in El Salvador.

But sadly, the republican members of the House will roll over like the whipped dogs they are, and sing his praises. There must be a method for the people to remove elected representatives that refuse to uphold the Constitution the took an oath to defend.
