In Midwest, that is. I don't remember milder winter than this one. Yep, it is still winter and everybody is out in short sleeves. Imagine Fargo being 20+ degrees warmer than south calif.
Not much so on West Coast:
Omaha, NE - 81F
Minneapolis, MN - 75F
Des Moines, IA - 81F
Chicago, IL -75F
Fargo, ND - 75F
Las Vegas, NV - 58F - rain and windy
Los Angeles, CA - 53F
San Francisco, CA -50F
current temps:

(link will not make any sense if you look it after 03/18 :D )
Folks in midwest and east coast must be enjoying this weekend.

EDIT. Sunday highs - permanent image

Fuck no. We opened all the windows and are sitting here sweating. Shock to the system. I dug out a pair of shorts and found $10 though.

Oh well. In 4 months we'll be wishing it were below 80.

Usually we'd be having a warm snap right about now that would herald the beginning of spring, but that would usually mean 60 degree days and 40 degree nights. And, usually that wouldn't last very long and it would be back to 40-50 degree days and 30-40 degree nights.

My wife and I for years would make a point of vacationing to warmer climes on around March 16th (our anniversary) and it always warmed my heart getting updates of cold weather while we were on a beach somewhere.

I was in shorts and a t-shirt yesterday for St. Patty's here in NY. Last year was pants and a winter jacket. I'll take it!
