Well I will claim that Trump is first know person in the History of the World who is totally impossible to do parodies about him, due to them being actually being true. Seriously the POTUS has beaten The Onion and Saturday Night Live before they can ever think of any skits to do. The only known famous person ever to have done this major feat. And how in Hell has he managed to accomplish this thing that never has been done before? Social Scientists will be doing major research on the old man for centuries to come, if they can ever figured this out.😱

Trump and the GOP are the best tool that even the former Soviet Empire could not even produced to defeat the Leader the Free World, the United States of America who have help preserved and protect Freedom for all. :hearteyes::hearteyes::hearteyes:
 
He simply makes the worst self haters proud to be that way. He's what everybody dreams of being, an asshole who is completely free of shame. And he was right about Alabama, that's the important thing. Imagine the joy of living in a world that was only about you. Pretty sure this was established within his first month or so, political parody has basically been on life support for the last 4y.

All you have to do to parody Trump is go the other way. You portray him as an evil genius playing at being a buffoon to fool all of us into thinking he is incompetent all the while playing Nth dimensional chess. Oh, shit. Never mind.

This is not news.

Trump is a living example of Poe's Law.
Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is utterly impossible to parody Trump in such a way that someone won't mistake it for a genuine article.

This is Poe's law applied to Trump. There is no variance from Poe's law here. Just a specific application.

And you would name any new law you discovered after yourself, not an individual idiot.
 
It's similar to the way Boris Johnson ruffles his own hair, and attempts to sound like a buffoon, on purpose.

Kinda like hiding a razor blade in an apple.

OK Meadows Law of Trump. Poe's Law has do with Religion, my named Law has to do with the actions and behavior of a single POTUS, the person of Trump himself.

You are assuming they didn't. There is two possibilities I see. One is that the GOP lost control of the monster they created and it is running amok. The other is that this is all intentional, maybe not the specific craziness, but the general chaos and dismantlement of our democratic institutions, the specifics are just a dog and pony show while they loot the treasury and make their getaway. There is profit to be made in chaos, especially if you have a heads up on the specifics of the chaos ahead of time.

There is a third scenario. No one expected Trump to win, including the GOP. So long as they hold the Senate, and without a smoking gun to bury Trump, they’re not going to abandon him. If anything, Trump is a useful distraction to keep the Democrats occupied while they look ahead to mitigate the coming blue wave.
