Last week, it was 85 F. We complained. I guess this qualifies as having "fixed" the problem.

Fscking worthless contractors can't fix a damn thing in this building. All I want is a thermostat that works, is that really so much to ask?

About 13 C for our non-American folks. Way too goddamn cold. I'm actually having trouble typing because my fingers are freezing.

I remember we had this problem in an office I used to work in. The AC didn't work well during the summer and it was hotter than hell in the office. We were falling asleep, sweating, it was miserable. So finally they fix the AC, and the next day it was like 55-60 degrees in there. It was 100 degrees outside in the middle of July, and I was on the office wearing a jacket at my desk.

mmmmmm, sounds perfect. I usually go hibernate in the server room cause they keep it at about 60. Can't stand temps over 70.

Its too hot in here,
now Its too Cold in here,

I bet the Building maintenance crew is laughing.

Call the building Owner. Ask him/her to please come and see,
how crappy the heating/cooling is being handled.

Is the lease coming up for renewal soon? Mention this to your boss,
that it needs to be included in the next lease,
that the room temp should be from 67-73f.

I agree! On the rare chance I get cold I can put on a jacket, but when I'm not its not like I can take off my skin to cool off!

Same. For me optimal is right around 50F.

Comfort range is upper 20s to around 60.

Unfortunately everyone else seems to like it around 80 nowadays :-(
