Multilayered Lessening - the race against preoliferation

The background to Libya's choice was the invasion of Iraq, which demonstrated the consequences of not meeting the international community's disarmament demands. Bolton points out that the Libyans began serious discussions with the United States at the outset of the Iraq war, that they admitted Western experts after the BBC China incident, and that the negotiations were completed the week after Saddam Hussein was pulled from his hole. "That's a pretty clear correlation between external events and Libyan decisions," he says. "It is a classic example of a vindication of the Bush doctrine."

I haven't seen any reports of evidence or intelligence that Lybia was currently a nuke proliferation threat.

IMO, Lybia was a nice PR coup for the Bush Administration.

If by "Bush Doctrine" you mean a policy of first-stike pre-emtive attacks, (based on either good or bad intelligence)--no amount of results, real or imagined can vindicate such an immoral doctrine.

What a coincidence the Libyans decide to cooperate right after their leader was put on Al Qaeda's hit list.

The Bush Doctrine?

That bozo thinks a doctrine is a physician in a latrine.

I guess we can sleep well knowing that Lybian WMD's aren't going to be launched at us in 45 minutes. 😀
Bush doctrine has stuck us nationbuilding in Iraq for reasons that have been proven false.
