It finally happened everybody, I'm surprised I lasted so long. 😀
There I was, playing Facing Worlds on UT, when suddenly, a smart fellow by the handle BLAdE concluded that I was cheating! 😀😛😀 I knew it was coming, he started talking, "something's not right here, you don't die killbat"... The smile on my face was ear-to-ear. When he finally did it, "killbat's cheating! lamer!", I almost fell out of my chair. The conversation continued, whenver I died, "you can turn them off and on during the game" "its no fun when you cheat online". Now, sprinkle in some cuss words and you've got this genius' thought process. 🙂 He went on for about 10 minutes before he quit the server. Ah, that felt GREAT! 🙂

[edit] OK, I see from some replies that you need this information. 😛 I was not cheating. I have never cheated at UT, I don't even know how. 😛😕🙂

I understand him!!! I remember playing UT with you a long time ago (at least I think u were there along w/other ATOTers).. You never would die! But then as I killed you once or twice (to offbalance my almost perfect losing streak), I realized that you just have too much time on ur hands. 😛 😉

I used to always get accused of cheating when I played q3dm17 (in quake III of course). It always made me feel kinda bad but I felt good once I barely lost to the second best player in the world.. that was a long time ago though.

people would say, "nice bot" right before they disconnect from the server. Or when I missed they would go, "that's not convincing" lol.
 
I see where some people might get suspicious, I've almost mastered the art of using the sniper rifle as an assault weapon. 😀 I can get head shots at any range, from across the map to face-to-face, without bothering to zoom in. 🙂
 
I might have had it coming, I was arguing with the guy in the previous game. 🙂 He was mad as hell that the teams were unbalanced, I was yelling at him to calm down and that it's just a game. 🙂 I think I lit his fuse. 😀
 
If you were cheating, what cheats did you use? God mode? All he had to do was always blow you off the map. You'd have to take god mode off! I say you can cheat if you want to cheat.
 
OK dracman, maybe you missed what I was saying in the thread topic AND first post, but I wasn't cheating. I think cheating against other human players is deplorable. Cheating on a computer game alone only affects your experience, but when you begin cheating online, you rob the other players of great a gaming experience. Cheating online is NOT OK with me. :|
 
Got my first Godlike! on a "real" UT board the other day - solid server with nearly everyone with 100 or less pings. 🙂 Finally died when I slimed myself. 😛 Didn't get accused of cheating though... not quite up to the Killbat level yet... I'm still a spaz when it comes to using the sniper rifle.

It does have "CSHP2.HackProtection" on that server by the way. Maybe that's why. What the hell is that? Every time I log on it sends it to me, but the annoying part is it seems some sites use a different version and I can't play there once I've downloaded it previously because the versions don't match. I have to quit the game and then restart. Plus I don't like waiting each time it gets sent to me. Where to download, and which is the most compatible version? (Windows 2000, UT: GOTY Edition patched to 4.36, with the Christmas pack installed.)
 
hehe, I was playing Killbat in CTF the other day. Dammit killbat! Just give the damn flag back! nooooo! don't take it again!
it wasnt too bad when he was on my team! 😉

When I first got the game I remember accusing someone of cheating because they were really good and I was joking, I didn't know that it was actually possible to cheat! I got flamed a whole lot for that. One time someone admitted they were using aimbot.
 
Thats an easy excuse for someone to say for REALLY SUCKING BAD.

How do you cheat? Is it internal stuff or like added mods?

Regardless, cheating during online games is completely unacceptable by all means.
But how can you shun someone for being good?

But thoes sniper and shock rifle hoes are annoying.
