I have never lost my cellphone before. Ever. Well, now I have. I orderd a replacemnt fo it the same day becuase I need it for work. I was one day from being out of contract so I decided to wait one day to save $100 on my cell phone. No big deal right?

Well, my car wouldn't sart this moring - my wife had already left and we have no land line. so I got to enjoy a 2 mile walk to my friends house to make a call to work for pickup :roll:

(Note: I have had no prior signs of car problems and it has started on colder days although it still got down to -2 below last night. I hope I can get it started later today)

Uh, I don't know a single neighbor but wouldn't hesitate to do some knocking early in the morning. Could have used IM or something as well.

No catch that I can see. There are other free SMS sites that I've used in the past with no catch. This site was the first one that came up in google.

Only downside is that the message comes from an odd number, so it helps to preface your message with "Hey this is so-and-so..."
