Oh my good fvck!!11 Your printer spools everytime you print?! Lets hurry up and call in the national guard! Thats what it's suppose to do! I hate you. Oh and thanks for putting your email in all caps except for the work "i", genius!

That is all.

I can sympathise but at least you make money off them 🙂

Maybe she's just misusing the word spool? I don't imagine she'd put a ticket in if everything were working fine.

Hrm, you have a point.

(I still want her to die)

Least she listed her problem. Today I get an email stating:

"Are you working on the slow network in Dallas? Because my screen is flashing and it's shaking"

All this from a Regional Director w/ 25 years experience in Telecom.

.....LOL!

U know what u should do. Go in at night, like the day before u go on vacation or something like that, and switch up all the ip addresses so none of them are right. My god, if u did that at my school, mass craziness. Teachers would be running around like chickens with their heads cut off

Yeah good point...maybe she just means the printer icon comes up and it doesn't print or something?

My IT Dept Rant is how come when the IT dept fixes a problem, they write a ticket but when they can't figure something out, I never see a work ticket?

If her screen is shaking tell her its because her big fat butt is causing the building to vibrate. See what she says to that.

Because they're busy working on it?

check this ticket I got at work:

"The date for Employee with the social xxx-84-xxxx is showing
03/03/2005. The correct date should be 03/01/05 30 days after the
date of completion. Can someone please correct this."

I looked this up and completion date was showing as 02/01/05 on the website
see anything fishy about this submission?

Um no. I've called them on several seemingly simple things and its been a year and no response. I still have a problem with Outlook and email addresses not caching. Normally, I'd be able to start typing an address and the list of addresses starting with those letters pop up but it doesn't do it. The IT dept never figured it out.

Now I have a problem with CTRL C. Whenever I push CTRL C, it puts a shortcut into the taskbar in MS Office. They can't figure out what's wrong.

There are tons more examples of these problems I've had. They are nothing that will stop me from doing my work but annoying little problems.

Try supporting consumer level software. Talk about some nightmare support tickets. I can't believe how stupid some of our end-users are sometimes.

I actually had a person think they needed a better print spoiler (yes that is what they said) because it would make the jobs go faster. Yeah and I have a desk that does 0 to 80 in 5 seconds and runs on ink. Problem is the ink comes from Iraq.
