I am a nurture over nature kind of guy who has experienced quite a bit more than usual deprogramming, in my opinion, and came out much better on the other side. I am deeply emotionally convinced that were you to experience some of what I have, you would be a far far more happy guy. I can do nothing to help you directly, but I can suggest to the part of you that was blinded by conditioning that it is painful but possible to recover. You are right, I was mislead by your saying you found it troubling, so of course you are not troubled by it. lol makes sense.
And you are also right that quoting Oprah is a serious condition and I am going to seek help with that at my earliest convenience.
As for being a happier person, that isn't even possible, I spend all day smiling in delight at all the world offers and am amazed by the beauty and wonder of life itself. I am also amused by people with misguided intentions, and am a believer in joyous participation in the sorrows of the world.

Wars are the result of people who believe in their own definition of words like where you thought what I meant by troubling is what you thought it means, or a notion of happiness that imagines a Trump Presidency is preferable to one headed by Clinton.
