IT auditors

They make sure you have a mouse on your desk, and that said mouse is accounted for, and that if anyone were to move said mouse, the FEDS would know about it.
 
ha - thats interesting. BTW anyone ever worked with an auditor before? like what questions they ask.. are they generally PITA ?
 
They audit systems to ensure proper controls are in place so the plot in Office Space doesn't happen in real life.
 
I've worked as an internal quality auditor at my current company. Basically we go and grill people to find out if people are following the proper processes and we make sure that everything is documented.
 
I'm doing it right now and really planning to change career paths even though it's the highest entry level pay available right now...
