Check out this link for a Sharper Image Large Mesh Watch. It has nice dials on it, numbers, and it is mesh so very modern.

Best of all, it is only $13.99 plus $5 for shipping. It is like new, meaning factory refurbished. But still carries a 90 day warranty.

For those of us who use our cell phones for clock time, this is a deal to jump on!

Rips the hair out of your wrist, but still a good deal. Sharper Image is very nice quality and usually charge a lot more for stuff like this.

Actually I have a very similar watch to this (except it's Mercedes) and it's very comfortable and light. I actually get lots of compliments on it as well.

FYI... The Sharper Image has an Ebay auction program, and they have 2 auctions with this watch... $6.95 or Buy It Now at $9.95, plus the same $5.95 shipping that the site charges. So for two of you interested, you can save an extra couple of bucks on this watch :)

Actually auction 1 is for the smaller watch (2.6 cm) which is really for a kid. Auction 2 is for the men's (3.4 cm) watch and has a buy iy now price of $14.95. FWIW, I got one of these about 6 months ago and really like it.

Good deal on the watch; I needed one, too! Thanks, although I paid more for shipping than the watch. (Damn my leaving this area in a few days...)

Sharper Image sell junk. Why not just tattoo "I am an idiot" on your wrist?

Tattoos hurt and don't tell the time.
A watch doesn't hurt (unless it grabs some hair, or shocks me somehow), and it should tell the time fairly well. :)

If you get a tattoo of a watch, it will tell the correct time twice a day!

from what it looks like and its lack of features its "regular" price is unjustified.

It's not too out of line for a low end watch with a japanese movement. The regular price is not a deal of any sort, but not "unjustified" either.

And as far as looks go, that's pretty subjective.

Not necessarily, I'd pay MORE for an uncluttered, lightweight and minimalistic watch... and I did, this isn't all that different looking than a Skagen Titanium that I wouldn't trade for *anything* except exact same watch but (if one had) with Tritium markers. It's about 1/4th as heavy and 1/2 as thick as a fancier looking Citizen I have, that I never wear anymore. However, this SI watch being SS instead of Titanium, is necessarily heavier and Skagen is fairly well known for having a few very thin watches so the similarities may be fewer than at first glance.

FWIW, I have fairly hairy wrists and (at least the Skagen) mesh band doesn't pull as much as a typical linked band does.

Got mine today, nice watch. Only thing I don't like about it is the clasp, I never really feel like its closed right.

Got mine 3 days ago. Comfortable and neat looking. As others have said, somewhat fiddly clasp - I'm getting the hang of it. The band does not grab my wrist hair and the numbers are nice and big for my old eyes. Overall worth $14 to me.
