Isuzu to pull out of US markets

I remember back in the 90's, a co-worker of mine had an Isuzu pickup truck. Loved it, in fact. I laughed at the rear bumper on it, though.......looked like a piece of 16 guage sheet metal curved into a U-shape, and bolted onto the back of the truck. Something so ridiculous that it seemed as though being rear ended by a bicycle would bend it!! 😉

What happen to them really?

I remembered back in late 80s and early 90s, Rodeo selling like hot cake?
Didn't they also make Honda's first SUV - passport?

They were the first suv to be called out for flipping over.

I think that honor goes to the Ford Bronco II. and before that the Willy's(jeep).

Not a single sale since July? Not even one?

That's kinda hard to believe, but okay.

Well after thinking about it, there are only 2 dealers in the DFW metroplex and they are Run by Clay Cooley. His dealerships tend to deal with people with crap credit. The dealership he has down the street from my work has about 10x as many used cars as new Izusus.

I know.. but not even one? lol...

I mean, they sold 7k units in 2007, up until July I assume... thats over 1k units/mo.

Then it dropped off to zero? There's no way.

Even if they only sold 10 units.. If they have literally sold none, its because they don't want to sell any. 😕
