Hi All,

Hello Everyone,

I was checking a few Supermicro boards out for a project.

I have thes configured with an Intel SL8P7 Xean 2.8ghz CPUs, and 4 dimms of ATP 1GB DDR2 ECC memory.

The main thing is, some of these boards do not post using the same pieces of memory and CPUs.

I have cleared CMOS, removed battery, when set up they power on, but do not post.

I have also tried replacing the battery with a new, but no luck,

Any suggestions ?

Thx

If it's the exact same model, same BIOS version, using the same PSU, etc., it seems they're bad. Does it beep?

One thing you can try is less memory modules.
