How much performance do you lose running with a divider? I would just use the 5:4 ratio and be done with it...I realize it would be much nicer to get the full advantage out of your high performance RAM, but sometimes you just have to take what you can get and move on. Can you run a few benches with and without the divider?
 
Well I've contacted abit and I've not only asked to do a cross ship but to test out the board to at least 250mhz FSB and that it would be nice if they would run it at 275mhzFSB. I hope this fixes things, abit doesn't normally test to see their overclockability and it has to be requested prior to shipment, it's in their best interest since this will be the third RMA board. There is absolutely no excuse for me not being able to run at a 1:1 ratio. If I was willing to run with a divider, I wouldn't have paid $200 for these memory modules..
 
Duvie or who ever happens to know, when you put thermal paste on a device like a processor etc. it's suppose to look like one way, right? But what if you take off the HSF for what ever reason, the thermal paste should aswell look like something else, right? So, I was wondering, how should the thermal paste look like once a HSF has been mounted, has been heat cycled a bit and then is finally removed again?
