Issues with Redhat 9

Wondering if Anandtech Linux guru can help me decide what to do.

I am planning on building a file/web server using Linux and I already have a Promise SX4000 raid card. After doing much research, the Linux distros this raid card supports are Redhat 9 and Suse 9. People have tried using this card with Fedora 1-4 and experienced nothing but headache.

Anyway, I am leaning towards using Redhat 9, just because I like the feel of redhat 9 compared to suse. But since it's not supported anymore, and it's been a while that redhat discontiue the support, I am wondering what I will be missing out using redhat 9, and since I'll be hosting my own website on this server, if there are possible security risk.

Thanks in advance for any suggestion. 🙂
