This is a follow up from this thread. If you can help with the problem in the original thread, that would be great too!

HELLO everyone!

It's a new week and I have new problems. This time I have brought pictures.

Problem 1: Hard Drive doesn't fit into the metal box
There is 2 metal boxes on the bottom of the case where you are supposed to put the hard drive/s. The problem is that the hard drive doesn't fit into the metal box. The metal box has two little metal picks inside of it that are supposed to hold the drive in place, but ultimately get in the way of putting it in there. There are holes where you are supposed to screw the hard drive into it, but you can never match up the holes thanks to the metal picks. And when you can actually find a way to put the hard drive in the metal box (not matching up the holes), there is a metal lip on the inside of it that keeps it from totally going into it. I have no idea what to do. Could it be the hard drive? The hard drive is different as it doesn't take the normal hard drive cord to hook it up (SATA maybe) but takes a much smaller plug.

Problem 2: DVD drive can't be held in place
The place where you put the cd/dvd drives at the top of the case is weird. Instead of places where to screw in the drive, there is a black plastic piece that somehow locks and unlocks the drives. I have not found out how it works, and have played with it for hours with no success.

Problem 3: Fan Power Cord
I have a fan mounted to the back of the case. It has a cord coming out of it that looks like it would go into a white slot on the motherboard, but I am not 100% it goes in there since I have other items that look like they might also go into the place. The power supply also has cords that look like it could hook up to the fan, so I am really confused.

Can't help you with those case problems but I can tell you that you connect the fan to your power supply's molex connector (the connector which looks the same).

Yup, Scoop has the fan issue. That is a pass thru connector: the one with male pins goes to a female (contacts) Molex connector from the PSU and the female side allows you to plug something else onto it so you don't lose a power connector. It would be nice if you had posted the make and model of your case - most of us here aren't psychic...
. Doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with, but perhaps info can be found... It would be nice to have a pic as to how the HDD bracket looks when mounted in the case - just from my experience, you have the drive upside down (in the pic) for the mountings you're trying to use - the label side of the HDD should be facing the bracket with the connectors toward the rear of the case. For rule of thumb, HDDs should be mounted with PCB down when in final position in a case.

Okay, after reading the manual a thousand times, i was able to get the hard drive and the dvd drive to work. The problem with the dvd drive was I was reading the floppy drive instructions by accident, and the problem with the hard drive was that the instructions was just too vague.

So just one problem left!

Well, our lack of psychic abilities still stands in the way - as I see it, all your questions are answered. Ours are left hanging...
