Issue w/ spybot. Help

I have 2 systems both w/ spybot on it. And last nite I found out that I can't do update on both systems. I am sure it is because of the spybot, because I just did and update b4 I install the spybot. I uninstall it and no still can't update so I format the drive and do a flash install. Guess what still can't update, MS give me a message on the update page said update error can't be display..

Help plz.

I presume you mean Windows update not spybot update? Anyway I had the same sort of problem,go to Control Panel and check in "Date,Time,Language options" that all the dates are correct,if the date is wrong then Windows will not update as I found out .

Also best to use Spybot in easy mode since it`s safer,I`ve trouble getting Spybot updates but that`s because their servers are normally overloaded.

I had a similar issue on Windows Update. When I when to get the patches after a fresh install of WinXP it would even let me in the Windows Update site. I changed the settings of where you can choose to update it manually, or let Windows download all the updates without asking you. I flipped to the other setting and back over, fixed my issue.

What I changed over was on the Automatic Updates tab, when you right click on My Computer and select Propteries.
