i will "open my eyes" and tell you this: we are not perfect. we have and will support autocratic regimes because we have no choice (oil dependant economy) but we are also the only country in the world with the ethical and physical balls to institute real change in this world. everyone else is too busy being culturally sensitive to realize that despite huge oil profits from the last 50 years, no middle eastern country has a real economy.
