If you shoot at the wheels of a vehicle, you must be a very bad shot to hit someone in the back who is in the car.
 
How were they to know there was not a bomb in the trunk. Its easy to say they could have done... as you sit in america. But I am sure it is quite different over there..

ok, if there's one friggin' dead horse on ATOT, it's the Israel conflict. You can't change how the others think about it anyway, just get friggin' over it. Period.

And how many Israeli children are 6 feet under because of nails and shrapnel flying through their heads and body because some people have beef with their government?

Sorry, I don't feel that much sympathy...at least the Israeli's don't target old women and children like some others do. This is one instance. I feel sorry for her and her family, but the Palestinians are only making their own bed.....

It was an honest mistake. If I saw a car driving at ludicrous speed in a suspicious manner, I would shoot too. To pay unnecessary attention to this belittles the true atrocities committed by the Israeli military.

The soldier who killed this woman acted illegally and against the rules of engagement. The IDF has concluded that this taxi posed no threat, and is continuing to investigate.
