Israeli Missiles Kill Hebron Militant

<< They probably just screwed themselves again. Bring on the suicide bombers. >>

That's awful 🙁

How can you cheer on suicide bombers?

<< more dead people. thats really what it boils down to. >>

Actually it boils down to less dead people. One less murderer.

<< more dead people. thats really what it boils down to. >>

Don't you kinda have to differentiate between the "local commander of an armed group" though?

Not cheering. Just stating a fact. Every action by Israel seems to bring more suicide bombers from the Palestinians. It's a pretty nasty cycle.

Is there any way to end the cycle?

If Israel stopped bringing about "actions," would the suicide bombing stop?
If Palestinians stopped the suicide bombing, would Israeli actions stop?

I think if each side would finally try to look at the situation from the point of view of the other side, they might start to resolve things. It seems that both parties are far too reticent to make any real progress.

they might resolve things if they would actually start to realize that land is not worth lives.

Come on. Wouldn't you want to live in a desert surrounded by people who hate you?

that's the thing, if people there realized that they're wasting their lives over something as trite as some land, there wouldn't be any hate there anyways.

It's not about the land, for the Israelis at least. It's about being able to go to the mall and coming back alive. So why dont they just give away the land to the Palestinians and have peace? 2 reasons. 1) They would not have peace then, because many Arab factions (Hamas, Al asqa, Hizballah, Fatah Etc.) are comitted to the DESTRUCTION of Israel. 2) If they returned to the pre-'67 borders, they would not be able to protect their country. The pre-67 borders are indefensible.

nah, it's not worth the trouble. it's this whole "stand up for what you believe in no matter what" crap that causes all the violence there. if they were all too lazy to fight, like me, things would be better.

Car salesman says, "Mr. Zuloum, I know you didn't order the car with ONSTAR. Somehow you were upgraded. Go ahead and take it. You'll like the option. Its not like they could track you with it or anything. Enjoy."

<< The attack on a car in the divided city of Hebron apparently targeted Marwan Zuloum, identified by Palestinian sources as the local commander of an armed group linked to Yasser Arafat (news - web sites)'s Fatah (news - web sites) faction and responsible for deadly assaults on Israelis. >>

I just wish I could have pulled the trigger myself.
