The whole policy of destroying homes and buildings is apalling, and any person with basic moral values ought to know better. These are homes and businesses they are destroying, people's lives. Citing some gunmen firing from some buildings as an excuse to bulldoze entire blocks is pathetic! It's draconian collective punishment at it's finest which any self-respecting democracy should refrain from doing.
If you were being blown up by sucide bombers, you would do the same thing.
what, destroy someones home who had nothing to do with it?
Homes were being used to
1) Store munitions.
2) Interact with weapons smuggling tunnels
3) Used as firing positions.
All three of those items are "against" the rules and support the militants.
It may have been your neightbor that was doing it and not you, however, you accepted the fact that the neighbor was doing the wrong.
Neverminding your allegations on what the homes were being used for (since it's easy to accuse anyone of anything but the burden of proof rests squarely on the accuser's shoulders) in your last sentence you seem to be trying to justify collective punishment, do you believe collective punishment is necessary here?
