Israel has a way better military in general thanks to the US. Not to say that the other countries in the area don't have a pretty good force, but they are using equipment built a LONG time ago. This is really why Israel is still there. If the other countries in the area could compete militarially they would have taken Israel over years ago.
 
The Israelis already have the Dolphins in service (which is a customized variant between the German 209 and 212 type subs).

Israel is expected to purchase several new Type 214 subs from Germany that are equipped with fuel cell propulsion in addition to the diesel-electric set and upgraded technology/weapons capability
 
No duh!, with the billions we've funneled to the Jews, they can easily afford to blow their cash on nice toys. Stop our aid to them, and see if they can afford to buy all the nice toys.

Considering that Israel is vastly outnumbered by all their neighboring aggressors, they have to have better equipment.
 
Israel has some of the most advanced technology in the world, simply because they designed and built it.

The Dolphin subs were mostly donated by Germany too, Israel only paid for one of them, and only 2/3 of the next two or three that they're getting. Pretty sweet deal I'd say, buy 3 and get 3 free.
 
Israel MUST have an amazing army/navy/air force, they're surrounded by people who don't think they should exist.

the oil is cheap. it's just the oil cartel that makes it expensive for no other reason except for unchecked greed.

It's not the cartel who's driving the prices up. It's the greedy brokers who's using every excuse imaginable to drive up their oil price.

They have one of the most impressive air forces in the world. The IAF is one of the few Air forces to produce multiple "Aces" in the modern Era (5 or more confirmed kills by one pilot). Not only that but they have a very high kill to loss ratio.

Call it national pride, but I think if America Had seen as much action as the IAF have, then they would be able to put up the numbers the IAF has.

During the Six-Day War, the Israeli Air Force achieved absolute air superiority by eliminating the vast majority of opposing Arab air forces on the first day of fighting. On June 5, 1967, in Operation Focus, a massive coordinated raid employing special Durandal and conventional bombs, rockets and strafing, the IAF destroyed most of the Egyptian air-force while their planes were still on the ground. By the end of the day the Syrian and Jordanian air forces were virtually wiped out as well. The IAF shoot-down record at the end of the war was a claimed record of 451 enemy aircraft downed versus 10 downed of its own. While this operation was taking place, only a handful of aircraft were left to guard Israeli skies.
