Well, Crimson, touche. You're right, the government spends money on a lot of things of which I approve but you probably don't. But I think spending money on cows farting is more benign (and a hell of a lot less expensive) than supporting Israel. But, you know what, you do so well, then you say something like "We give money to a lot of countries which could be argued are much worse to their people and enemies than you claim Israel is." What confusion in your statement!. I object to my tax dollar going to Israel because they use a good portion of it to oppress Palestinians. I don't really have any objection to countries who oppress only their own people. This means, I wouldn't be in Iraq. When you use the conjunctive ("and") to connect to connect these two distinctly different ideas, you do me, yourself, and the board a disservice.

EDITED: The U.S. has supported some of the most abusive regimes in the world.

It's not just that, Israel is one of the wealthiest nations in the world yet it gets more aid than any other nation from the US. We pay for Israel's oppresive policies then we complain when people say they hate us. What do you expect?

Your choice of words is showing bias as well:

You say that, I say my tax dollars are going to protect Israel from Palestianians who want them exterminated. Do you think the Palestinians want anything short of the complete removal of every last Jew from the Middle East? Do you honestly think that if the Israeli government gave the Palestinians every last piece of Israel, but one 10 mile by 10 mile piece, that the Palestinians would be happy? And still not suicide bomb and complain?

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!

There is no such thing as a Palestinian.
Palestine is an ancient land of a forgotten people.
Those who identify themselves as Palestinians, are merely nomadic arabs who
latched onto the growing Israeli economy, after WWII. And decided to stay.

THEY DON'T DESERVE A STATE, SINCE THEY NEVER HAD ONE TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!

Grow up, people.

I see a new moron whose has no idea about the issues yet wants to be a part of the forums. Do yourself a favor, learn how to read, find some articles and then come back when you know what the fvck you are talking about. By your distorted logic there should be no such thing as an Israeli as the majority of Israelis are people who left or were kicked out of other countries who came back to an ancient land were their people were long forgotten and then stole it back. Grow a brain.

Your tax dollars are going to oppress innocent people. No matter how many billions US gives Israel, it will not stop terrorisms but escalate it, it will turn regular people into terrorists full of hate for their oppressor. Recent events are a proof of that. Finally high ranking generals and soldiers in Israel are catching on. Just take a look at the world's opinion, majority of the countries are opposed to and appalled by what Israel is doing in the Middle East...can the whole wide world be so wrong?
