Im just hoping the Iranians dont find out about our spare bunker busters.Shhh...don't tell anyone that our bunker busters went no where near the ~300 feet deep needed just to get to the top corridors. We would never want the world to know both that we failed and that our most powerful bunker busters don't do much.

We'd need many, many more than what we have to get deep enough.
Like @brycejones posted, the 300 ft necessary for the main corridors was public knowledge. Heck, here is an article from several days before the attack. https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/17/middleeast/iran-fordow-nuclear-site-latam-hnk-intl "Its main halls are an estimated 80 to 90 meters (around 262 to 295 feet) beneath the ground"Amazing that you have better info than the US and Israeli intelligence and military combined! How is that possible?
idk... I could easily believe that it is true. The plans for the complex was leaked some time ago. Iran knew that the plans was leaked and they knew the capability of the American bunker busters. Why wouldn't they dig deeper? Then, according to my Persian coworkers, triple that depth for the deepest corridors. Take their comments with a grain of salt though, since that could very well be internal Iranian TV propaganda.
Well bud you blew it. You should know that reading is against the will of MAGA after all fiction is always more accommodating than facts.Basically, to answer your question, how do I have better info? For starters, I can read.
Well you're right on this one.Amazing that you have better info than the US and Israeli intelligence and military combined! How is that possible?
Smaller ones have been used a bunch of times. Never the GBU-57 though.
So, that leads... going full nuclear... the only way to make impossible to access the sites.
Tangentially, had me looking up how these things compare with the "Grand slams" and "tall boys" I remember reading about in history books about WW2. Seems these are supposed to be significantly more effective than even those things (intended to hit submarine pens and the like) were - better at penetrating concrete, apparently. But I suppose if you build a bigger bomb, the world will build deeper bunkers?
Hormuz still closed? That certainly would be a flashpoint if Iran tried to enforce it.
Did anyone else notice how this thread seamlessly shifted to Israel's unprovoked war on Iran? I am also impressed by @Zor Prime 's foresight when picking the thread title which scales nicely with Israel's desire for unending destruction.
Given the last 25 years of the world, I'm sure this thought has gone through many countries' minds. Countries with nuclear weapons don't get invaded (ie, Pakistan, North Korea) whereas those without could face invasion (ie, Georgia, Ukraine, Iraq)I mean if you are nearby Israel and watching this even if you are not exactly an adversary you are sure having some thoughts right now. Like "I need atomic weapons" kind of thoughts.

So... this is not only a failure but even the Israeli attacks did more damage than the US ones?Woke, marxist, libtard news organization NPR, who totally hates Trump and America GREATNESS published an evil and dishonest story that used an unproven concept called “math” such an old fashioned word, even older than groceries, so out dated, to lie about how great our full payload of BOMBS are, totally the best BOMBS, soldiers came to me with tears in their eyes and said “sir thank you for the bigger bombs, under Biden and Obama we only had weak sissy rubber bombs that didn’t explode”.
TLDR: depending on geology and the type of rock the MOP may only reach a depth of 8 meters and changes in the geology could deflect and absorb the shock waves.
Amazing you have Trust in Bibi who lied to the world multiple times about the same thing. (Iran weeks from a bomb)Amazing that you have better info than the US and Israeli intelligence and military combined! How is that possible?
Amazing you trust Trump who openly admitted he didn't care our own intel said Iran possessing a bomb was NOT imminent.
Um, what NATO member(s) has/have been invaded since this implied weakening of this greatest alliance in history? Granted Trump's respect for NATO (or anything or anybody other than the dictators he wants to be chummy with) stinks but I don't know that Article 5 has been violated.Or be in a trustworthy alliance like NATO used to be.
IIRC, Article 5 binds all members. If the US doesn't honor it, other members presumably will. Russia's invasion of Ukraine backfired, if they invade a NATO member, they are even more seriously up shit's creek.AI:
You are right that while the former President's statements regarding NATO, particularly concerning the commitment to mutual defense outlined in Article 5, have caused concern among some allies, there has been no violation of NATO's Article 5 itself
Iranian is not a language...you're giving us Ted Cruz vibes, not knowing anything about places you want to bomb 😛If it were not for Trump, you would be speaking Iranian. I think you owe him some gratitude.

You mean Persian/Farsi? Having just looked it up, am interested to find that Persian-speakers are spread not only into Afghanistan and the other "stans", but even as far as a small region of China. Also, Persian speakers are present in a lot of countries, including the US.
