Has the Health Ministry been able to identify any dead Hamas soldiers in the rubble yet? Or have all the deaths been Palestinian civilians? But kudos to them for being able to provide those pretty specific casualty numbers from all of that rubble (and based on the Hamas sympathizers here, there is a ALOT of rubble), even with names in such a short amount of time...

So what you meant to say is the Pentagon doesn't want to give the Palestinians internet to expose the Israeli genocide.
Looks like accident or intentional a news blackout ought to provide a longer window to kill the Palestinians before the political backlash internal and external threatens to end it.

Sworn Turkiye hater at work again.

You dont have to be a Turkey hater to see that, Turkey themselves are position their country away from the west

The only NATO country member that hasn't imposed sanctions to Russia for the Ukraine war

and now

The only NATO country member that doesn't recognize HAMAS as a terrorist group

President Erdogan's rhetoric the last two weeks is made it crystal clear that Turkey is distancing itself from the West

Don't think the Pentagon is going to pay for Hamas terrorists to get internet.
They dont want journalists reporting on the atrocities committed by Israels indiscriminate bombing of Gaza. It makes them look bad and can turn the tide of public opinion and support for Israel. Plain and simple.

With the weakening of Russia, Turkey’s geopolitical power is improving. They also realize that NATO need Turkey more than Turkey needs NATO. Lastly, Erdogan has a large Muslim majority that has become central to his consolation of power. It he can just get their economy back in gear - they would be an even more influential regional power.

World War 3 continues to expand.
United States is seen as weak, and regional powers want Israel dead and gone. The one thing they agree upon and can unite behind.
We are no longer a shield that will hold this at bay.

Erdogan threatens to declare war on Israel, send military to Gaza...
Yawn. This crackhead would learn an hard lesson.
How about Bibi and Edrogan fighting hand to hand pay per view style.
Both of these assholes will send others to do their bidding because both are cowards.

Erdogan is asking money from Qataris and other Arab states who dare not speak up, by being a "spokesperson", not a single soldier will move south. WW3 did not expand but is being monetized.

+ there are elections in March, herd talk

In the deglobalization era, it is normal for Turkey to seek and find new balances.

Being an obedient NATO member is not enough when USA and France play their own game in Syria, on our Southern Border against Turkey's national interests.

Similarly Turkey supports Ukraine, Turkey's Armored Drones saved the day for Ukraine during the initial part of Russian offense, on the other hand, Turkish - Russian history is an unending series of clashes in the last 5 centuries, so it is normal for us to draw the lines where we see fit. When the wars end, we remain as neighbors with Russia, not the rest of NATO.

Not recognizing HAMAS as a terrorist group has counter examples like Israel not recognizing PKK as a terrorist group. These statements are int'l politics and have to be said when (like in this forum) a majority of the World condone Israel's actions.

It was never a serious offer from the outset. It's just another chance for him to plug one of his companies, and make a weirdly irrelevant nerd reference.
Of course it was just empty promises and bullshit. Elon is enjoying the brown people of Palestine being slaughtered. He is a sick disgusting piece of shit. And so is Israel. What bunch of fucking evil fucks.

Nope. No WWIII. A regional conflict has a no-zero chance of occurring, and that’s why the the US has twenty warships in the region plus more USAF aircraft arriving at bases in friendly countries in the region. The US isn’t going to let this spread and none of the state actors are even going to try going up against us. They know the result is essentially predetermined.

Iran is using its militias to stir the pot just to annoy us - it’s what they do because it’s all they can do.

Erdogan is just playing to his base. He’s not going to do a damn thing.

Firstly, The Express is not a credible source - it really is the worst newspaper in the UK. It has a long history of printing sensationalised fiction intended to give its elderly readers the frisson of fear they seem to crave.

But I have to admit that Erdogan's stance in all this has come as a surprise to me. It seems a weird situation to have such a split within NATO.

I'm clearly not up to speed on geopolitics. Presumably it has something to do with the ongoing Iran vs Saudi/Turkey Shia-Sunni conflict, or maybe a rivalry, within that, between Turkey and Saudi Arabia?

What I'm inclined to wonder about is whether, if things get really rough with Gaza, it will create internal unrest in Saudi Arabia? The elite there have clearly entirely lost interest in the Palestinians and sold out to the US, but have they bought the rest of the population with them?
