Project and deflect much? Apparently so. I wouldn't scream about it at all.

Whippersnapper's remarks are equally as obtuse. Palestinians can't reject something that's never been offered, that's for sure...

Again, why not?

Why not?

"Jewish majority".... Israel is already facing a problem of non jewish religions (eg, islam) making them the minority and thus compromising Israel as a "Jewish state". Throwing in all the arabs in gaza/west bank in with them would just make things worse in their view.

Another reason why I don't like Israel.

They need the $15,000/year per person because they face a genocidal threat from surrounding Muslim nations.

Earth to whipper, maybe now giving Israel 15 K per peep only buys us the the Israeli right to be as sadistic as Hitler. I mean, why should sadists and pigs not have the right to be happier than the average bear? All them Palestinians to torture, what's to be unhappy about? And 15K per year pay in the process. We get what we pay for and Israel gives us our money's worth.

Has it ever occurred to you, Israel would no longer face the threat of genocide if they stopped being aholes, pigs, and thieves? And actually granted equal human rights to Palestinians who were born there.

The more Isreal moves away from a "Jewish State" to a "State" the closer they will be to peace. If they remain close to their values and use the population growth to grow their economy the lives of everyone in the middle east will improve..

Ding Ding Ding, I think we have a winner here. But nah, surely not, it makes too much common sense to ever happen. Once the USA gets stuck on stupid, its hard to stop. Our Israeli mid-east quagmire policy, our third quagmire and the longest running one.

It's a serious problem for them; eventually Israel, as a Jewish state, will die as a result of population demographics. The Jews and other nations really screwed up when they picked the Middle East as a place for a Jewish homeland.

The issue on my mind, is, where should a new homeland be located if Israel ceases to exist? I can't imagine that any nation would be generous enough to offer a piece of livable land to the Jews. I think that that is the best solution to this problem. I'd love to see them be able to relocate to a sparsely populated state in the U.S. or somewhere in Canada and see what they can do with the land.

How many times have the Arab nations attempted genocide against the Israelis? This nation has been under attack for decades. You make it sound as though the Israelis were the aggressors in all of this.

OK point granted, in 1948 the Arab States were the unfair aggressors, but now, its Israel that is the aggressor as they earn the Arab hate they need to defuse. And instead, use the Israeli military hegemony to not ever come to grips with a larger reality.

And now as the larger world DEMANDS that Israel get the hell out of the West Bank and Gaza that Israel can never own, Israel refuses to come to grips with that reality. And instead panders to bat shit crazy settler political parties instead.

Wouldn't doubt the article. After all the time I spent in Israel, American's talk more about current events there then in Israel. More than likely b/c it's just normal way of life there.

Israel can't live in the past Capt Caveman.

But gotta love your signature of adopting a homeless pet, I have two dogs and two cats acquired that way, and all four get along with each other.

But somehow Israel can't throw 3 + million Palestinians into some dog pound and expect to be called a moral State by anyone else in the world. Even if most Israelis want to pat themselves on the back and agree they are fine fellows while committing dastardly acts.

Your point Capt Caveman was what? Being in collective Israeli denial does not cut it.

Lemon Law, I just can't put to words how ignorant you are. Absolutely amazing, really.
You have no clue about anything, do you? just your "reality" that no one else ever hears about.

Paranoia kicking in strongly, I see... Israel has initiated conflict as often as their neighbors, if not more often, and conflict doesn't necessarily mean genocide, at all.

ZzZGuy has it right, I think. The whole idea of a Jewish State pretty much rules out the possibility of peace, particularly so long as they insist on expansion...

Israel is your socalled agressor becuse her opponents have continually refused to allow her to live in peace.

The Arab nations lost their attempts to destroy her and the Paletinians have continued the ideal. The ideal at that time was not a Palestinian state, but to wipe out Israel.
The Palestinians have not abandoned that hope. They have continually demonstrated that they (overall) are unable to want to live side by side with Israel. They choose confrontation over reconciliation.

It is those attitudes that Israel is responding to.
What they sowed; they have also reaped.
Time for them to plant a different crop - what they are presently planting is poisonious to them.

Israel got out of Gaza - what did it get them - more attacks and a pure hostile neighbor.

I just think it's funny how so many people have such strong opinions on this particular subject but have never met or spoken to an Israeli. They believe everything they watch on the news. It's like how non-Americans believe the US is a dangerous place from all of the violent news stories they hear.

So speaking to a Israeli gives you a pure unbiased picture of what is going on over in that part of the world?

HA. It will help you understand "their" view but if you want the whole picture you'll have to speak to a great many people from a quite a few countries. So I will stick with looking at news sources from various sides of the fence.

And that will help you understand why they're happier than many other nations? Yeah, that makes sense.
