This is ancient news. What's the point other than to provide "news"?

It's not "ancient news", it's as close to official admission that organ theft has indeed taken place. Previously any word from the Isreaeli direction has been anyone even suggesting this actually happened is an anti-semite, racist, etc. So it's a stark contrast to anything we've heard on this in the past.

The guy in charge isn't anymore, the practice was stopped, nothing is happening now that we know of.

Who says it stopped? Oh yeah, the dude who admits to performing organ theft himself. Great credibility HE'S got...

Who says it isn't going on still? Nobody! Well, except for the palestinians who received bodies of their family members with missing organs.

Where there's smoke, there's typically fire. Who says this was the only hospital/facility where organ theft occurred, or indeed that all such activities ended when this guy said they stopped at his particular hospital? If it was widely known (in certain circles) that organ theft was occurring then the acts themselves might very well have been widely spread.

Your attempt at humor is rather misplaced. This is an extremely sensitive issue. Hundreds, if not thousands of people have had their bodies desecrated in a systemated fashion. I truly doubt your levity would be much appreciated by anyone close to the victims.

Ok, I'll take the second option in my previous post.

If they where just harvesting organs for kicks then you'd be right. But they where harvesting organs for life saving organ transplants, giving people back their vision and to help treat burn victims. It is no long such a heartless action now is it?

They harvested organs without permission to help others (as misguided as it is) and covered what they where doing by such things as gluing eyes shut so the removed tissue is not visible (I don't get why this would be so outrageous). The donors where already dead.

So this should also serve as a reminder for people to sign organ donor cards (or the equivalent in your country).

While they are already dead, you @ least have to consider ramifications for doing something like this. Doesn't it @ least seem a LITTLE offensive to you, to cut body parts off of people without permission from the family or receiving legal clearance.

It also shows that some* Israeli's have a sense of entitlement to just harvest organs @ their convenience. Clearly if this would go un-investigated & unpunished the situation can easily get far worse.

Of course the Chinese get paid for the organs like a kidney. Unfortunately many just are gutted and left to die. Or execute disabled wheelchair bound people who are on a vacation.
