I'm in favor of this. If we applied American gun laws on the Palestinians, they would no longer be able to obtain machine guns, rocket launchers, mortars, and explosives used to murder thousands of innocent Jews.

Don't be an idiot QuantumPion, its partly meaningless violence on Palestinians that make the Palestinian people want to acquire weapons. And the reason the Arab world and most of the world wants to support them. Settler parties arrogance will be the doom of Israel.

There is nothing wrong with the Jewish people wanting to celebrate Purim, some ancient and now meaningless conquest of ancient yesteryear, but its still a wake up call to modern Jews. Their triumph of Purim did not prevent Israeli Jews from having the bloody shit kicked out of them many times later. And it was finally the Romans that finally got fed up with ancient Israeli intransigence, as they said, don't go away mad, just go away or else.

Now history repeats itself, and the one lesson is, the mideast, holy to three religions can be peacefully shared, but it cannot be pigged by any one group for very long. In that longer sweep of history, a mere 62 years is but a small moment in time.
