Thread lock. The video, and claims that it was from an Israeli attack have been proven to be a fraud (no need to knowingly perpetuate propaganda here). We're also getting some over-the-top and silly responses here, plus we have many other threads on this matter.

Be warned, there is nothing enjoyable about a street littered with mangled bodies.

This video was shot sometime in the last few days in Gaza after an Israeli bomb struck a crowded civilian street. Another member on P&N was happy to show us what a laser-guided bomb looked like from a birds-eye view, and now we get to see what the looks like at the ground level. It's always nice to see both sides of the coin.

Israel have the right to defend herself, and the provided images are manipulated by the bleeding heart liberal media. Just like the lies that the media painted during the Vietnam War.

Bushshite, Zionnazi Akbar....

What coward would hide behind women children instead of come out and be shot by the superior equipped killers in all guerrilla war fare (see Vietnam, etc...).

The civilian should know better an stay away from where the bombs are. Their stupidity killed them, not the Great Zionists.

PS. We should "Gas the Arabs"

Lets assume Israel devised a machine that for every rocket shot from Palestinian territory, blindly fires back a cruise missile at the source of the launch. Lets assume it's 100% accurate, but causes complete devastation 100m around the hit spot. Is the use of such a machine acceptable by your divine moral standards?

In the perfect world, and the teaching of many religions, Palestinians should except Israeli ruling just like the world would have been a better place if we accepted Nazi & Jap ruling.

The French, Polish, Jews, etc... would be better off if they didn't harbor (hide behind women & children) resistant fighters (terrrarists).

Apparently, for folks like jpeyton, the Israelis should not respond to the rockets with anything more harsh than a strongly worded letter.

Dear Hamas Terrorist(s),

Please stop shooting rockets, or we will be forced to write you another letter with harsher wording. Pretty please?

Sincerely,
Israel

Attitude like yours is what got the Palestinian into the shithole they are in. You encourage them to fight a militarily superior nation, and while doing that, you create false hopes that they could sometime solve this conflict by force.

Thank you for clearing that up for me.

<-- Vietnamese grew up in Vietnam during the War, and my dad was a writer that was jailed by the Communist. Myself & many family members were forced/drafted by North/South Vietnam to fight each others. Many, of my family members including my grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins (childhood best friends, tortured then killed) died by the hand of the North/South/French/Japs/Americans.

I witness first hand of atrocities & death in war to know that it is better run away & hide where the bombs are falling, and thank fully I have the luxury to escape the chaos. However, many do not the opportunity to leave the war zone like I have had.

I don't condone the killing, but how can we not voiced our opinion while people are being murder under our eyes?

There are no innocents or right/wrong in war there are just deaths/atrocities and propagandas that are spouting from the lying media/politician lips. It is us who must wade through the garbage and make our opinions on the informations that are available.

I understand where you're coming from, but sometimes the use of force is inescapable. Force did beat Nazi Germany, and horrible force stopped Japan during WWII. Burying one head in the sand doesn't make for a better future.

The Palestinians must understand, and accept the price they will pay for such war, and such war shall take place unless they decide otherwise. I can't see how stopping Israel's military actions gets us closer to a solution.

Oh, you mean the "civilians" that democratically voted for Hamas? They are fair game in my book.

Surrendering in the face of death is usually a good idea. If they want to stop dying, they should stop Hamas from shooting back. They could have surrendered before these deaths, they can still surrender before the next bomb drops. It's their choice to surrender or die.

Israel's message to Hamas is proper, your support for Hamas is not. Your message should be directed towards the Islamic extremists, not towards us. That is what so clearly defines whose side you?re on. This is what happens when you attack us. DON?T DO IT.

You and I stand on different sides of a war that hit home on Sept11th, your propaganda for them changes nothing between us.

I'm starting to like the idea of a "peace keeping" force, but screw the UN, they are beyond useless unless both sides play nice.

Just need to find someone(s) who the terrorist won't be trigger happy with, Israel will respect (both diplomatically and militarily) and has the balls to blow up any rocket launchers or weapon caches they find in gaza and shoot down any Israeli planes or repel any incursion into gaza.

I vote Russia with international backing (so they will do it and can do it well), in the past they have been on the side of Arabs and they have been playing nice with Israel lately as shown by their plan to buy UAV's from Israel (as is Canada on a totally unrelated note). When it comes to Iran, it is more business to them then trying to tweak the USA's nose (also makes me wonder why the USA won't put the missile shield in Israel, Iran won't even have a reason anymore to build nukes).

You also need to vastly improve conditions for the palis once they have stopped or are no longer able to attack Israel (support for terrorists or the terrorists themselves) so that they can not conceive of going back to the way things where before, and to associate their new found prosperity to peace.

Israel needs to be removed from the equation (I don't mean off the map), no matter how justified they are any response from them beyond writing a letter will inflame the arabs more. The terrorists need to have their ass handed to them and told to play nice or die. Give it a few decades of peace and hatreds will begin to die, the "extremists" won't change but their numbers should shrink and kept in check by people who like the way their life is now (as in supporting a government that will hunt down and kill or at least imprison them). Right now it's a broken record and massive cluster f*** all rolled into one.

Yes, the Russians will handle this well. Are you kidding? It will turn into a complete war zone.
Why won't Hamas drive them away with suicide bombers?
How will it be different from the US occupation of Iraq?
How effective has this model been, taking Hizbullah as an example? They kept arming themselves under supervision.

The last thing Hamas wants is separation and relaxation. They want to fight over Israel, and having Russia's finest in the middle won't get them any closer to that.

Gee maybe if Israel didn't steal all their land they wouldn't be in a population center. How about Israel open up it boards and lets refugees leave the refugee camp to except the bombing.

How about Egypt doing just that and letting refugees escape, instead of shooting on sight?

They must have a good reason.
