ISO writing

Most CD burning programs have the capability to burn .ISO images directly to CD.

I know Nero does (under File --> Burn Image...)
 
absolutly the best one is Deep Burner, beats the heck out of Nero and it is freeware a little snoop on Google will find it.

If you're running WindowsXP (without a SP2 release candidate) you can use the ISO Recorder Power Toy. It works with Windows' file manager, making ISO recording a very simple process.
