Why send him to Tom's Hardware? Anandtech has plenty of good reviews here that show arguably more objective data. I mean . . . these are the Anandtech forums, right?
check here, Molonodo, and read benchmarks to your heart's delight. You won't see all the CPUs in the same benchmark, but you should be able to get the data you need there.
I think the Toms link is fine...While everybody may not agree with some of his results (including other websites), it is still the most complete tool I have found...I like it for comparing to past processors to see how far we have come...
PLus AT's reviews of late lack anything othr then synthetic benches and games...so it is really not complete enough to help the OP...
