So far I have tried at least 4 different models of Motorolas to try to get the bluetooth to synch and trasnfer ringtones and data. NONE have worked. I have tried pairing V330, SLVR, RAZR, and maybe another model, none of the bluetooths phones can find each other. I thought the point of bluetooth was universal compatibility? Is there something I am missing here? I hit "Find Me" on one phone and "Loof For Devices" on the other phone and it never finds any of the phones!! Is this a Motorola thing? I tried with my friends Samsung t509 and it worked fine!! We were able to transfer ringtones and all!

My razr has connected to friend's phones of various manufacturers to transfer files with no hassles in the past. Sounds like a PEBPAC problem to me.

I've always been able to use Bluetooth fine on the first try for my Motorola v600-
v600 <-> Axim PDA (transfer files, GPRS internet)
v600 <-> PC (using a bluetooth dongle, mainly for file transfer)

do you have verizon? they are notorious for crippling the bluetooth capability on their phones.

No not verizon. Just doesn't find anything, works fine for wireless BT headsets but not for phones!
