Is there any real difference in using an isa modem against a pci - usb one? How great is the difference? Where do you notice it?

BTW I have a modem blaster usb v 90 and a supra express 56i sp isa.
Which one will have a better performance?

As far as speed is concerned there is no difference at all. As far as ease of setup, avoid isa and get pci or usb. I actually prefer external modems as opposed to intenal modems as all you basically need is a free com port or usb port. ISA tends to run into irq problems and such. PCI and usb modems will usually setup automatically.

Using an ISA modem will require mobo resources. If you have a choice you should use the usb modem. USB is much easier to set up and deal with. As far as speed, I dont think you will see a difference once you are connected to the internet.
