i got the isa server 2004 up and running in my small network. is there a point in still using my cable/dsl router in front of my isa server, or should i just connect my isa server directly to the cable/dsl modem?

You can do it either way. Large companies usually use multiple firewalls, but ISA is an extremely effective firewall, so using it as the front-line should be fine. Less of a headache (unless you want to learn a dual-firewall setup).

I'm comfortable with ISA by itself. Not everyone is. People can argue this one all day long.
