ISA 2000 Server

Got a somewhat weird issue going on here. I have a MS ISA server that has been running for 2 years or more without issue. Well, it started acting a tad flakey so I restarted the Web Proxy service. Then for some reason it went out entirely, woudlnt retrieve any pages at all. I have since rebooted the server and checked the event log and it says that it is unable to bind the port 8080 because its in use....odd, nothing should be using it so I try a totally random port. I went with 60123 and get the same thing, cant bind to the port. Since then i have tried many different ports with the same results. Any ideas?

Sorry. Can't help much with ISA 2000. Have you checked out http://ISAServer.org?
Also, if you are a Microsoft Partner, since it affects the entire office, this would likely qualify for free 24/7 "Server Down" support from Microsoft.

I think it's having a hard time binding any port to that IP Address...check the address, see if it has changed?

ISA 2000 is no longer supported at MS as of a few months ago.

a netstat -ano would show what is on a particular port (netstat -an on older OSs)

Nothing was on the ports, I did a reinstall and it did the same thing. I then removed the app and then readded and the error disappeared. I can only guess that it was a corrupt config file.
