xpand rally is much better, rally sport challenge is better, colin mcrae 2005 is the daddy. and richard burns rally is really really good from a physics and car control standpoint, (pretty much its too realistic for casual gamers) codemasters know how to make a rally game
there is no better rally game than the colin mcrae series
its a bit shocking to be a DX9 imo.
well. Ill definatly give xpand rally a try. I havent played any of rally games to really say which one is better as far as physics and gameplay goes, but this one seems to be one of the best looking
the game is running smooth now, ..
really have a go with the colin mcrea rally 2005 demo for the pc
the car models are just insane, and the damage models are even better!, deformation, broken glass, lights, flat tyres, you rip wheels off, doors off, bonnet, boot, scratch all the paint off, shredd your tires down to the rim!
and even during the game and replays you can see parts of the car working, suspension, wipers (in car with rain and wipers is awesome! you get water droplets running up the screen due to the wind...jus like in real life) you can see the driver changing gear, turning the wheel, even using his feet on the brakes and acclerator.
codemasters have it down to a fine art for sure
