No, I'm actually making less. I work for the city and in the past 3 years we received 2 bonuses totaling 4% through renegotiations between the city and our union.
 
well my area so many big companies packed up and left the county that most people have to chose between small start ups (no security or benifits) or McDonald's ( low pay and hours). Niether choice is good for raising a family.

the real scare is that McDonalds is able to be choosey in it's hiring now...
 
Wow a lot more No's than expected. I would've thought people would switch jobs as a possible way of boosting salary to beat inflation.
 
It is not even close. Even when you disregard the increases in deductibles and copays in our "health insurance", raises are still not keeping up with inflation.

My boss said to look on the bright side, he threw caution to the wind and decided to double our Christmas bonus this year since we had done such a good job. Yep, he doubled it. Of course 2 x $0.00 = $0.00
 
Mine is right above Inflation but not enough to worry about. Luckily this year I should get a promotion so It won't matter too much anyway.
