There are 4 within a 1 mile radius of my place, but there are probably 12 Starbucks, ~10 bars, 24+ restaurants and several clubs. So... no, not infested. I really like the wine bar setting so long as it's not too formal.

if so i am moving to your nieghborhood

Most neighborhood wine bars have wireless from what I've seen. The overly commercial/franchise/formal ones don't seem to for some reason.

and i bet these 'mixed development' giant apartment complexes will have more.

My answer is no.

But the bigger question is why does this bother you? Why should you care if whine, er wine bars are popular?

Do they have the same regulations as a regular bar? Do they cut you off if you had too much?

Personally I think wine gets people hammered faster than beer or even some hard liquors, but that's just my opinion.:p

Talk about the wrong person for the job!

Wine bars rock. Much more interesting than regular bars.

<--- doesn't know crap about wine

I only know I can get drunk off it. Thats all I really needed to know.

didnt know they exist

dont think they'd be too popular in northeastern Wisconsin

hahah probably not, but then again, Wisconsin defines the concept of neighborhood bar...

e have seveal wine bars down here in SE Wisconsin. But it doesn't matter how many they build. West Allis will make sure the corner tap outnumbers them 4-to-1
