Is working at a repetitive boring job you don't enjoy any different than...

going to school and studying subjects you find boring, repetitive, and have no interest in? I suppose the main difference is the hours you put it, but as of now I'm taking about four classes which occupy a fair amount of my time that I really have no interest in..but it's really not that bad at all, and what motivates me is that it'll help me get my degree. I imagine if it were actual money that was my motivation it should make it all the better wouldn't it?

only motivation i got is the fact that igot nothing better to do with my time..

working fulltime sucks, specially when its so routine

it's different because you only have those classes for 1 semester vs. working at a boring, repetative job for X amount of years.

but you pay to take those boring classes but you get paid at your boring job

Well I've been in boring classes for about 13 years now 🙂

And as for your second point yeah..wouldn't getting paid to do something be much more motivating?

If only I had the money to go to school with. I have to work to make money, but then I have to spend the money to live. If I had enough money, I'd go back to school to learn those boring topics. School is so flexible. You study when you like, go to classes when you like, play when you like. Work, be ontime, do what you're told and go home when you're done. I'd trade it.

School +
Work -

Edit: Miss my college years, *sigh* where did the time go?

Tell them that they need to lubricate the fuser properly. I find that the tongue works well, just make sure it's going first. 😉
