I don't understand how Woot is profitable.
But I do understand why people buy stuff from Woot (cancerous psychotic consumerism)

It's a Woot-off and no one has mentioned it.
In fact it hasn't been mentioned in a while.
Did they ever have anything useful other than Roombas and bags of crap?

Yeah, some of their gadgets, computer parts and peripheral deals were pretty good. Stuff like TV tuners, wireless mice, etc.
They do have the rare good deal, but mostly it's Roombas and the overstock of crappy products.
^^. I used to really like Woot, but it seems like the frequency of a "good buy" has been steadily declining.
Woot never was "popular".
it was a quiet "in" thing for a few elite snobs who would post a day or two later about the "amazing woot deal" they got.
Too much refurbished crap...
