Being the niave and spoiled brat that I am, I just had to have an AMD 64 bit processor and board. I have download the beta verson of Win 64 bit but I am hesitant on installing it. Is it worth the time and effort? Is this stable OS, cause i am very weak in the software area.

Here is my system:
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
Chaintech vnf3-250 mobo
2x256 Micron pc2100
Visiontek Xtasy 9200 256MB 8xAGP
Hitachi dvd-rom
TDK 440n dvd r/rw
2x30GB Western digital HDD

I am also mildly interested in oc'ing this thing but I have no idea how and would need step by step instructions

Thanks for reading and for any advice anyone has to offer

It's a beta OS with very little driver support. You can install it alongside 32-bit XP for experimental purposes, but 32-bit XP should be your primary OS.

Just so you guys know, WinXP64 RC1 came out today. I got my email a few minutes ago and am downloading it now.

It won't be long now...
