Is wii really worth it nowsday?

I got a wii around a year ago and now I notice I barely even play it! Right now I begin to wonder why do I even have this and the only game I got is Mario Galaxy. More than once I am thinking should I try putting my wii here at FT/FS and hopefully score a ps3/360 in a trade even if I need to pay extra. The reason why I haven't done that is because my older brother who live in the same house already have a 360 and a ps3 but it is in his room.

Are there any interesting wii game that are coming out or is it better to get a 360 or a ps3?

and to be more helpful, what kind of games do you like to play? Most of nintendo's good games lie in their first party titles. Then there's RE4 if you haven't played it, Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes (debatable, depending on if you can get over the terrible overworld), boom blox supposedly... and we'll see how Unleashed implements the wii saber stuff.

IMO, if none of those interest you, and I assume not if you have a wii now and didn't go for them, then you're better off with something else. We're seeing Wii's on the shelves for a little longer now... so if you sell, and something grabs your attention later, it won't be as difficult to get.

And I'm glad mugs caught that, for the record, I love my Wii =)

Hehe... get me a good party game with family/friends over, and the Wii's gonna stay on so long it just might overheat.

Get me down with a bunch of other gamers online, then the 360's there (XBL rocks!).

You'll need to question what you play more (for me, it's both).

wii is only good for asking girls if they want to come over and play with your wii. Then if you go down on them, they can't call rape because it was consensual.

I own two wiis because I collect consoles. I still don't have a 360 because they are unreliable. Since I am very 'peculiar' about my stuff, I wouldn't play with a refurb console as a consolation to their shitty product breaking all the time.

by the time they fix the problems entirely, the 360 will be obsolete or there will be something better on the horizon I will just hold out for.

I've had a 360 since Xmas 07 and haven't had a single problem with it. I made sure it was one of the new ones w/ the smaller CPU and it seems to be fine. Does everything it's advertised to do. I know there was a huge ordeal about the first gen 360's but to me, it looks fine. I also have a friend who purchased a 360 around October 07 and he hasn't had any problems with it either.

one of my problems is I don't use the AC because I don't like recycled air (makes me feel bad) during the summer it gets around 90 here in Miami. Can the console survive that???

Most consoles have special peripherals that are specifically designed to help with overheating

edit: I haven't actually looked to see if one exists for the Wii nor to see how affective it is/may be

Are you wondering why people reply to all my posts, but ignore all of yours?
