Actually, I've found that if you don't attention whore, you don't get treated much differently. Contrary to legend, I haven't found that being a girl (or even having a username that at first appears attention whorish) brought in more than two PMs over the course of two years. I do find that it makes me the target of more attacks, on occasion, and also provides me with a few more defenders, but the defenders tend to be people who know me already from PM or AIM conversations. I think the legend of treatment of a female on AT is vastly overemphasized, if you exclude attention-getters.

No, we are not one in the same. He contacted me when he set up his website asking for my help so I did just that. For those of you that even thought twice about it, I am disappointed in you. If need be, anyone that still doubts me feel free to contact the mods with your "evidence" and have them run a check on me.

What I find even worse than those second guessing my identity, is that no one contacted me directly. Instead it is posted in an Off Topic forum for all to comment.
